Well, the lazy days of summer may be here, but not for the GFWC Monroe Township Woman's Club!
We recently gathered for our July Social at our new clubhouse, and what a wonderful evening it was! Although the rain kept us from enjoying the lake, it certainly didn't dampen our spirits. Members shared a delicious meal, participated in fun "getting to know you" games, and enjoyed meaningful conversations about how our club has fostered new friendships while becoming an active part of our community. It truly was a memorable evening.
But don't think we're just a social club! We are a dedicated group of women committed to making a difference through service. Our members work hard on projects that benefit local families, strengthen our community, and support worthwhile initiatives throughout the state of New Jersey.
One of the organizations we are currently supporting is Embrella, which provides resources and support for children in foster care and other children in transition. Many of these children are removed from their homes with nothing more than a garbage bag containing their belongings. Embrella helps provide backpacks, clothing, school supplies, and personal essentials to give these children a fresh start. Another one of our annual service projects is Operation Holiday Stocking. Although the holidays may seem far away, we kick off this project with our "Christmas in July" event because the stockings must be filled and shipped by October to ensure they reach our military men and women serving overseas in time for the holiday season. If you have new stockings or any of the requested items listed on our donation page, we would love your support. Please contact us, and we will be happy to arrange a convenient pickup.

We are currently working with local officials on an exciting new initiative that will benefit members of our community. This project is especially meaningful to us and has the potential to make a real difference in the lives of local residents.
