Our unwavering commitment to community

At the Monroe Township Woman's Club, our projects are the heart of our mission. We are deeply committed to making a tangible difference, from advocating for children and fostering arts & culture to driving civic engagement and promoting health and wellness. Explore how we touch lives, strengthen our community, and extend our impact far beyond our town.

Spreading warmth, globally

For decades, the GFWC has championed Operation Holiday Stocking, and in 2025, the Monroe Township Woman’s Club proudly joined this heartwarming initiative. Our dedicated members handcrafted and sent over 40 personalized stockings to our troops serving overseas, contributing to the incredible 4500+ stockings sent by the New Jersey State Federation of Women’s Clubs that year. It’s a project that truly connects our community with those who serve, bringing a piece of home to distant lands.

You Are Not Alone: Compassionate Support for Survivors

You Are Not Alone is an initiative created to provide compassionate and tangible support to survivors of sexual assault immediately following their nurse examination. While medical care addresses critical physical needs, survivors often leave the exam feeling unprepared and vulnerable, lacking essential resources and emotional support. This program aims to bridge that gap, ensuring that each survivor is met with understanding, care, and the necessary tools to begin their healing journey.

Building a playground for all

As part of our deep commitment to community service, the Monroe Township Woman’s Club proudly partnered with Finn’s Friend on an exciting endeavor: bringing an all-inclusive park to Monroe Township. This initiative, under our Community Impact Program, aims to create a welcoming and accessible space where every child, regardless of ability, can play, learn, and grow together. We believe in fostering environments where everyone belongs.

Supporting Education, promoting reading

We are excited to announce that we have committed to ongoing Book Drives to support the Williamstown Library! Our goal is to enrich the local community by providing valuable resources and fostering a love for reading. Each book donated will help enhance the library’s collection, making it accessible to everyone in our area. We invite you to join us in this initiative; your contributions can make a significant difference in promoting literacy and learning. Together, we can ensure that the Williamstown Library remains a vibrant hub for knowledge and imagination.

Supporting children, one bag at a time

Under our robust Advocacy for Children initiative, the Monroe Township Woman’s Club annually participates in the Children’s Home Society of New Jersey Bag Project. This vital effort provides crucial support to children experiencing displacement and entering the foster care system. By supplying them with essential items during a profoundly difficult transition, we aim to offer a sense of comfort and stability when they need it most.

Our club is committed to assisting in a various types of projects that effect everyone in the community and beyond. Inspired by our work? There are many ways to get involved!
