July

This July is of historic significance as we celebrate the 250th anniversary of the adoption of the Declaration of Independence. It is remarkable to reflect on how our nation has grown from 13 colonies into the great country it is today.

Our forefathers fought for the ideals of liberty and self-governance, laying the foundation for a nation built on freedom and opportunity. Throughout the past 250 years, the United States has welcomed generations of people seeking a better life, enriching our country with diverse cultures, traditions, and ideas. Together, they have helped shape America into the vibrant melting pot it is today.

As we look back on our humble beginnings, we can take pride in the accomplishments, resilience, and spirit that have defined our nation throughout its history.

Happy 250th Birthday, United States! We are proud to call this nation home and grateful for the freedoms and opportunities it provides. May we continue to honor the ideals upon which it was founded for generations to come.

We do have some exciting news to share we have found a new meeting place.  We no longer will be meeting at the Pfeiffer Center, our new club house is at Timberlake.  Our new address is 3526 South Shore Drive, Williamstown, NJ. We thank the Pfeiffer Center for allowing us to use the center during our first year, we will remember all the meetings there fondly.  We look forward to a new beginning at Timberlake with enthusiasm.

Although the Monroe Township Woman’s Club does not have an official meeting this month, that doesn't mean we aren't hard at work planning and exploring new ways to serve our community!

Our ongoing collections for the Domestic & Sexual Violence, Advocacy for Children, Environment, and Education & Libraries Committees will continue throughout the summer. If you have items you would like to donate, please visit our donation page and reach out to the appropriate committee chairwoman.

Be sure to check back on our page throughout the summer, as we will be posting information about upcoming events, fundraisers, and exciting new projects.

If you have any questions or would like to learn more about our club, please don't hesitate to email us. We're here to help and look forward to connecting with you!
